Gamla Linkoping

Gamla in swedish means old, so today we visited old linkoping which used to be their "orchad road". Well its kinda similar to our orchad road cause now the new hype is MBS and orchad is like... booo. So yes people still stay in Gamla linkoping and the post office is still a post office but its kinda like a museum now? Like how you go into your grandma's place and its like really old furnishing but still functional. well maybe not your grandma but certainly mine. So yupp the reason why we went to Gamla linkoping was because it started to drizzle and we were like hell lets just visit this "tourist attraction". Gamla is not a big area but you should visit it sometime if you're here in linkoping. Doesnt take alot of time either just to know some history of linkoping.
Linkoping, i still find it amusing how the k is a /s/ sound.

 My guess is that this is like a fireman? i guess blue is a good colour for fireman here

 Their Bank!! i love how red it is, just this really rustic red colour. If Banks were like that i wouldnt mind being a banker

 Gamla linkoping is not very big, this is like the huge common area. Maybe they have campfires here last time for the whole village, just guessing. 

 Square money. Here in Sweden most of the things we think should be rectangle are square. My pillows from Ikea are square thats why my pillow case doesnt fit properly and some of it hangs out like a lifeless limb

 Thats Jianhui! He is also here for exchange and he was from PJC too woot! We are talking to this man on the right who is like a historian stationed in the bank. Though he looks like a statue trust me he talked to us, or did he not..

 Drawings of 3 famous bank robbers! Apparently they had the largest Heist in the whole of sweden and even for todays standards they stole like 80 million dollars? They broke into the bank because there were hardly any security features so it was not like an elaborate plan being executed to perfection, rather a lack of security features. The man in the middle was actually working as a policeman too, naughty naughty. 

 The historian standing next to the bank safe from 1900. Its made of steel but coated with wood, makes a real nice cupboard.

 I have no idea what this is but i took a picture of it since it had alot of buttons.

 Safe door? Jail? I have no clue, but it looks cool

 this old man on the right was just singing so happily to the tune of the instruments. One is sth like a violin and another one is a wind instrument but i forgot the name.

 Sometimes i wish i sell sweets for a living, i would sneak them into my mouth. No wait, since its my shop i can eat however many i want!

 This is a packet of sweets i bought, do not be deceived by the great Gatsby logo in front, they taste nothing like him 

 This is a post office and i bought a couple of stamps from here for 12Kr each. Not too expensive and also i liked how this man was really old but still hes working at the post office. Thou shall not just be old and sit at home doing nothing. 

 If you look closely you can see they are not real. 

 Since i cant understand swedish, im guessing thats how policeman gives you a hug in the old days. Nothing like a choke in the neck that assures you of their presence

 If someone pulled this at me, now i know its a gun and i would run. If i didnt know better i would have thought it was the lighter for the stove

 This is how bad guys look boys and girls. They have long hair and loose fitting clothes. Remember the key thing is that an axe would always be hovering around them

Yuppo so this is Gamla linkoping! just like a 10 minutes cycle from Ryd where i stay. Its a really nice and rustic place. Dont expect to buy anything much here cause theres nothing really. But still its a really nice place to visit!
